The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences was established as an independent faculty in 2008. The faculty is composed of two departments, which collaboratively offer different courses through the faculty requirements. The faculty includes the following departments: Economics and Business Management as of now.
The Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aims at providing the business and public sectors with qualified manpower. The main objective of the undergraduate education in this faculty is to help its graduates to gain the skills and expertise required in today's competitive, complex and global business, economic and political environment.
For this purpose, the faculty has collaborated with professional experts in other academic institutes and universities. The faculty aims to meet the needs of the local and international communities by providing qualified staff and contributing to the social and economic development.
Globalization and information technology not only challenged the old structures of values, work, society and national boundaries but also increasingly shape the new agendas of societies. In this regard, the social sciences have a crucial role to play.
Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences’ mission is to provide superior educational opportunities for our students through effective instruction, relevant curricula, and academic counseling; to engage in scholarly pursuits that aid the continued professional growth and development of the faculty; and to actively participate in the service activities for the university and the business community. Our faculty will engage in research to create and disseminate new knowledge, develop quality-teaching skills, maintain high professional standards, and actively serve the university and community.
